Heart & Vascular

Your Gift Keeps Us In Rhythm

The Christine E. Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute opened at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in 2006, marking the first open-heart program established in Palm Beach County in over 22 years. The Institute has performed over 2,500 open-heart procedures, more than 20,000 cardiac catheterizations, and nearly 5,000 angioplasties.

The Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute was named one of the Top Hospitals with Great Cardiovascular Programs by Becker’s Hospital Review, along with some of the most well-regarded hospitals and health systems in the United States, including The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, Duke University Medical Center, and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The Institute is also recognized as one of Florida’s leaders in the surgical and endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms and aortic dissections, and is among other leading-edge institutions that use the innovative Trellis System for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis.

In 2017, the Institute received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Gold Plus Target Stroke Honor Roll Elite and is one of only four hospitals in Palm Beach County to be designated by the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
