Your Generosity Gives Encouragement

The Christine E. Lynn Women's Health & Wellness Institute (LWHWI) at Boca Raton Regional Hospital provides women in South Florida with a continuum of care that addresses a woman's unique medical needs from young adult through perimenopause and menopause. The strikingly beautiful 46,000 square-foot facility offers the expertise of renowned clinicians, the most advanced imaging technology in the region and a myriad of holistic and educational programs, as well as support groups.

The Institute is led by Kathy Schilling, MD. A board-certified and internationally recognized radiologist, Dr. Schilling joined Boca Raton Regional Hospital in 1988. Under her stewardship, the Schmidt Family Center for Breast Care at the Institute has developed into Women getting mammogramthe area's premier and most preferred breast program, performing nearly 100,000 screening and diagnostic procedures a year.

The Institute was created out of a lead $10 million gift by Christine E. Lynn. Supported by the largesse of other local philanthropists, it now serves as a centralized address for the finest and most sophisticated women's healthcare services in South Florida.

Schmidt Family Center for Breast Care

Home to a team of internationally renowned and fellowship-trained radiologists, the center is recognized as an American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and certified by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers as a Center of Excellence, it boasts the most advanced breast imaging tools for cancer detection.

Go Pink Challenge

The Go Pink Challenge is a community-based initiative to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer. Individuals and businesses host a variety of fundraising events -- from spin-a-thons to softball games and shopping parties.

Peaceful Mind Peaceful Life

Dedicated to furthering inner peace and wellness by educating and inspiring individuals and creating community through mindfulness practices, online resources, and programs. Peaceful Mind Peaceful Life is led by Barb Schmidt, noted meditation teacher and mindfulness activist.
